SALITAGE PINOT NOIR 2007 - A stylish pinot from a good vintage, showing Pemberton on its best behaviour; fragrant and spicy, with a delicate mid-palate, then a peacock's tail finish. Screwcap. 13% alc. RATING 94 TO 2012 $40
SALITAGE PEMBERTON 2005 - Bright colour; elegant, light-bodied style with Bordeaux overtones; it is deceptive, for the sweet red berry fruits are not immediately obvious but shows up on retasting; the tannins are gossamer fine, the finish long.
